What hype playlist doesn’t involve some EDM? It’s essential when creating a good warm up playlist. The build-up to the beat drop about a minute in is simply unmatched. Not to mention, the lyrics themselves are good, but the beat is what makes this song. If you don’t feel like you can run a marathon while listening to this song, I don’t know what to tell you. Personally, this song will be added to every hype playlist I make.

Perhaps this song is being forgotten over time, but in the mid-2000s, this was my futsal team's anthem! Every Saturday, my teammates and I would blast this track as the last song of our carpool. One last time to get mentally revved as we pulled into the facility parking lot (warmups for these games were kind of lacking). One of my friends even broke a piece off my car from getting too unruly in the confined back seat.
Joseph Reina’s Hype Song:

The reality of being a soccer-obsessed kid in the United States is that you’re bound to interact with British soccer culture online, and it’s tough not to fall in love. TikTok footie edits can’t stop using UK grime music as a soundtrack, and this up-tempo yet chill song scratches an itch for anyone who remembers Michu at Swansea or Adel Taarabt at QPR. The constant soccer puns and references conjure up memories of Barclays limbs that made us all fall in love with the sport to begin with.
