Pachuca Soccer, officially known as Club de Fútbol Pachuca, is a professional soccer club based in Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico. It is one of the oldest soccer clubs in the Americas, founded in 1901 by Cornish miners who had come to Mexico for work. The team is also known by its nickname "Los Tuzos" (The Gophers).
Pachuca plays in Liga MX, the top tier of Mexican football. The club has a rich history of success, both domestically and internationally. Domestically, Pachuca has won multiple Liga MX titles, Copa MX, and other national competitions. Internationally, they have won the CONCACAF Champions League multiple times, which is the most prestigious club competition in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
Pachuca is also known for its strong youth academy, which has produced many talented players who have gone on to have successful careers both in Mexico and abroad. The club's home games are played at the Estadio Hidalgo, which has a capacity of around 30,000 spectators.
