Major League Soccer has long been an innovator in the world’s game. Their partnership with adidas is a textbook example of that willingness to experiment, and once again, they found the back of the net with this year’s jersey collection. Of the 32 new kits, Soccer Post’s editorial team highlights our ten favorite MLS jerseys for 2025. Stop into your local Soccer Post to check out some of these fantastic new kits today!
Joe: DC United Secondary - The Soul Kit
This off-white jersey features splashes of pattern, and intricate designs interlaced into the adidas template for this season. According to the club, their 2025 Soul Kit is “inspired by the city’s deep musical roots and cultural resilience” and was ”designed to pay homage to Washington, D.C.’s rich Funk, Soul, and Go-Go heritage.”
Gabby: Columbus Crew Secondary - The Goosebumps Kit
This striking jersey brings a vibrant energy to the field, matching the buzzing city of Columbus. While a black jersey will always be a personal favorite, the neon yellow/green pattern makes this kit stand out more. This Goosebumps kit gives the exact vibes you’d expect: edgy, sleek, powerful, and eye-catching.
Joe: Inter Miami Primary - The Euforia Kit
Stripes are a great way to make a good jersey pop, and Miami’s new Euforia Kit is a perfect example. The two-toned pink design paired with harsh black accents completes this eye-catching look. This kit will dazzle fans for two years, during which last year’s Supporters’ Shield winners will open their new stadium. It could also be a nod to Messi’s legacy with Argentina, but either way, it's a beautiful kit.
Gabby: LA Galaxy Secondary - The RIZON Jersey
It only makes sense that LA Galaxy has one of the most stylish kits for the new season. The jersey's colors perfectly blend to create a deep blue and purple look, similar to the galaxy. The gold detailing is as close to perfect as it gets because of its boldness. The new star above their crest also doesn’t hurt.
Joe: Real Salt Lake Secondary - The Grid City Kit
Inspired by the iconic grid pattern of downtown Salt Lake City, this year’s alternate jersey, the Grid City Kit, will undoubtedly hold a special place in the hearts of the team’s supporters. The blue and white base, adorned with gold and red accents, is decorated with subtle grey detailing for a perfect look into the city’s rich culture.
Gabby: Colorado Rapids Primary - The Headwaters Kit
Personally, I love a jersey that matches the team’s name, and this jersey does precisely that. Looking at this jersey, you can clearly see the rushing water going down the front of the jersey. Colorado got their MLS team name from the rivers in the Rocky Mountains, so this jersey honors their state and how they got to where they are right now. I’m even more biased because my favorite color is blue. Besides those two biased factors, I truly believe this is a sick jersey that had a lot of thought put into it.

Joe: Charlotte FC Secondary - The Fortress Kit
In this club’s young life, the jersey collection they’ve managed to put out has been nothing short of spectacular, and 2025’s Fortress Kit is no exception. The base pattern takes inspiration from their crown, a tradition that sees the supporters crown their MVP after every home game. This, in addition to the bright silver monogram logo and accompanying royal elements, makes this kit a winner.
Gabby: LAFC Secondary - The Secondary Kit
A simple jersey is sometimes the best jersey. LAFC’s secondary kit is a clean, modern, sleek-looking jersey that brings a luxurious vibe to the soccer field. The white and gold balance each other out perfectly. It’s giving LA, it’s giving fashion, it’s giving power. What more could you ask for in a jersey?
Joe: Seattle Sounders Secondary - The Salish Sea Kit
Locality, authenticity, and breathtaking design. The Sounders have perfected this hard-to-reach niche in recent years with a collection of jerseys that scream Seattle. According to the club, this year’s Salish Sea Kit “is the result of a meaningful collaboration with Connie McCloud, Gail White Eagle, and Danielle Morsette - visionary artists from the Puyallup, Muckleshoot, and Suquamish Tribes.” The accompanying phrase, “Water Is Sacred,” is found on the jock tag in English and Southern Lushootseed, the region’s native tongue, and the jersey’s design is inspired by the region’s traditional weaving techniques.
Gabby: Philadelphia Union Secondary Kit - The Voltage Kit
Talk about a jersey that sends a message. Philadelphia’s secondary kit, the Voltage Kit, features yellow lightning bolts across the light blue jersey, bringing a sense of power and energy to the soccer field. While this jersey inspires confidence, it also pays homage to Philadelphia, as the muted yellow and blue colors are taken from the city’s flag.
