Toyota Stadium in Frisco is home to both FC Dallas and the National Soccer Hall of Fame. It’s undergoing an exciting renovation targeted for the 2028 season. Another iconic stadium is the Cotton Bowl, which hosted six matches during the 1994 FIFA World Cup and is now the home of USL Super League side Dallas Trinity FC.

Local Soccer Legend
With iconic names like Bobby Moffat, Neil Cohen, Kenny Cooper, Chad Deering, Kellyn Acosta, Weston McKennie, and Clint Dempsey, it’s hard to single out just one person, but “Tatu” is a true Dallas soccer icon. Antonio Carlos Pecorari, nicknamed “Tatu”, played 557 games and scored 736 for the Dallas Sidekicks in the MISL after the NASL folded in 1984. He won four championships with the club, served as a coach after his retirement, and remains an active member in the Dallas youth soccer community.
