Landon Donovan is undoubtedly on American Soccer’s Mt. Rushmore, but he might be more important to Southern California soccer fans. Born in Ontario, just east of Los Angeles, Donovan played the majority of his career with the LA Galaxy, where he scored 141 goals and won seven major trophies, including four MLS Cups. He’s still involved in youth soccer and remains a vocal advocate for the sport in Southern California.
