Brian Schmetzer is a homegrown soccer icon with a big soccer family. He played for the Sounders before they were in MLS, and he’s coached the Seattle Sounders since 2002. As the head coach of the Seattle Sounders, he has led the team to two MLS Cups, the 2022 Concacaf Champions League, and the 2025 Leagues Cup.
