Team Portal FAQ
Who is responsible for customizing and shipping my gear?
Soccer Post handles all the physical fulfillment, custom embellishment (printing club crests, numbers, and player names), packaging, and shipping of your uniform orders.
Your Soccer Club partners with Soccer Post to select the specific gear, design the uniform packages, and provide the roster and jersey number assignments, but they do not physically handle or ship the gear.
Required Items & Mandatory Uniform Packages
The "Required Items" listed on your player portal are strictly mandated by your soccer club, not Soccer Post.
Who can change this? Only the designated Club Administrator has the authority to change or waive these mandatory items. Coaches, team managers, and Soccer Post customer service reps cannot alter or remove required items from your cart.
What to do: If your player has unique circumstances (e.g., they are a secondary player who only needs one jersey, or a returning player reusing last year's kit), you must contact your Club Administrator directly. If approved, the administrator will apply a manual override to your portal account so you can checkout.
Discounts, Promotions, and Bundle Deals
All uniform bundle pricing, financial aid packages, or player discounts are strictly managed and funded by your Soccer Club. Soccer Post does not offer retail coupons, promotional codes, or direct discounts on custom team uniform orders. Any inquiries regarding financial aid vouchers, multi-player discounts, or specialized team pricing must be directed to your club's board or treasurer.
Correcting Roster Errors (Wrong Email, Name, or Jersey Number)
Your portal profile is built entirely from the roster data provided by your club. If you log in and notice a typo in your child's name, a mismatched jersey number, or need to change the primary email address on the account, contact your Team Manager or Club Administrator.
Soccer Post cannot change a player's official jersey number or roster spot without direct, written authorization from the club leadership to prevent duplicate numbers on the field.
Why does custom team gear take longer to ship than a standard retail order?
Unlike buying standard retail cleats or apparel, custom uniforms are built to order. Each item must go through a multi-step customization process:
- Inventory Sourcing: Gathering the blank apparel from major brands (Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc.).
- Embellishment: Physically printing or embroidering club logos, sponsor logos, player numbers, and names onto each individual piece.
- Quality Control: Checking jersey numbers against club-approved rosters to ensure accuracy.
What is the typical fulfillment timeline?
Fulfillment timelines vary depending on the season and team uniform details, but generally, because thousands of players are ordering simultaneously across the country, fulfillment typically takes 4 to 6 weeks from the club's ordering deadline.
Tip: Your specific Team Portal homepage will usually list the estimated delivery window or the club's strict order deadline.
How will my uniform be shipped, and can I track it?
Once Soccer Post completes the customization of your order, it is shipped via standard ground carriers (like UPS or FedEx). You will receive an automated email from Soccer Post containing a tracking number as soon as the shipping label is generated.
What should I do if my shipment is delayed?
Check the estimated fulfillment timeline. If it is past the fulfillment timeline, please contact Soccer Post Support.
Can I return or exchange my custom uniform if it doesn't fit?
Please review your order details. In your order, we detail each item as Exchange Only, Yes to being returnable, or No to being returnable. Because these items are permanently customized with your club's specific crest or with your unique player number, Soccer Post may not accept returns or exchanges on embellished items unless reviewed.
Please review our Return and Exchange Policy page. To start the return or exchange process, visit our self-service return portal here.
Recommendation: Always attend your club's uniform fitting nights prior to ordering, or consult the brand-specific sizing charts provided on the portal.
My order arrived, but a number is wrong or an item is missing. Who do I contact?
Please contact Soccer Post Customer Support immediately. Have your order number, player name, and club name ready. Do not contact your coach or club board members for order mistakes, as they cannot issue replacements or correct warehouse fulfillment errors.
