Argentina and Ecuador will open up the quarter-finals round on Thursday, July 4. Leo Messi will look to lead his team and continue their quest as back-to-back champions.

While Argentina is the clear favorite of the tournament, Ecuador is a big underdog coming into the match. Only having one win in their first three games of the tournament, will Ecuador be able to pull off the biggest upset of this year’s tournament?

Venezuela vs Canada:

Title Odds: Venezuela +2500 , Canada +3500

Venezuela and Canada will face off Friday, July 5. Two underdogs in the tournament will look to move on and continue trying to win their first tournament title.

Canada has already made history as they advance to the knockout stage for the first time ever in their first Copa America appearance. As a regular participant, Venezuela made their first appearance in 1967 and has yet to win a title.

Uruguay vs Brazil:

Title Odds: Uruguay +550 , Brazil +250

Uruguay and Brazil will take place on Saturday, July 6 at 9pm.

This matchup means that one top team will be out early in the tournament. With the second and third best odds of winning the title, some may wonder if this matchup should have happened later in the tournament. These teams have a long history as rivals, with many memorable games including the 1950 World Cup final where Uruguay defeated Brazil on home soil to take the title, so this has potential to be a fiery matchup.

Brazil has been quite successful in the Copa America, coming home with nine titles and many appearances in the final.

Uruguay, one of the most successful teams ever in the Copa America, has won the title 15 times. Argentina is the only other country who has had as much success.

Panama vs Colombia:

Title Odds: Panama +8000 , Colombia +650

Panama and Colombia will kick off the second day of quarter-finals, Saturday July 6 at 6pm.

This is the second time Panama is participating in the Copa America as they are one of the teams that gets invited. They look to win their first ever title but have to first get past Colombia, who has won one title, but has been more successful recently as they finished in third place last tournament. Not to mention, Colombia is also currently on a 26-game unbeaten streak, will they continue this into the next round?

The semi-finals will start on July 9, who will we see there?
